OK, OK, you have a point! Quit nagging...

And just in case you were wondering choppedtomatoes I do mean you, but I am only joking, I do in reality practically live on my computer, and it doesn't take five minutes to post a blog entry, so I am posting one!

Also - go look at those yarns, they are seriously nice! I want all of them.

Aside from drooling over the yarns, what else have I been doing.

1. Am on my third session in the HPKCHC over on ravelry and it must be said I really do live on that site, the groups are amazing, the patterns are brilliant and my productivity levels have gone through the roof. Never before would I have challenged myself to make 8 shawls in 3 months.

2. The boy has moved to Aberstwyth to do his Phd (wonder if this has anything to do with my productivity going up).

3. I have taught myself to crochet, and fallen in love with the hobby - spinning next I think.

I am a throughly useless blogger...

You would think that with the amount of time I spend on line I would remember to blog occassionally wouldn't you. Especially with the amount of knitting I find myself doing when this is supposed to be my knitting blog.

Well I guess I should try and catch everyone up on what is happening in Anethema world -

1. I am taking part in my second term of the HPKCHC over on ravelry - great fun and lots of motovation - and I am again playing Quidditch

2. I am taking part in the Tri Wizard Tournament - playing for Durmstrang
3. I am taking part in and am a teaching assistant for Fantastia, another fascinating community on Ravelry where the projects are based around several different books.

I must update more often, and when I hand in the first round of projects pictures will be posted.

Early Mornings and Afghans

It is currently 1.10 am, and I am surrounded by yarn. I am in the process of knitting two seperate afghans, one is a simple 10 stitch blanket, the other is more complicated and has lots of squares.

At some point I shall sleep.

I have a Blog!

Ok, I'm sat in work staring at my screen, and I decided, that as much as I love my lj, I need a blog for my knitting!

I knit obsessively, usually while I have the laptop on and I am reading Ravelry (anethemadevice on there too). If I am not knitting I am reading, I have been told that the big gray box in the corner of my living room produces moving images, but I have as yet to confirm this.

This blog is to chart my progress as part of the Harry Potter Knitting and Crochet Cup over on Ravelry, which I am really enjoying already and term hasn't started yet, and also anyother knitting projects that take over my life.

I will also be reviewing books on occassion as well, as I read faar too much.
